Cut: This edge is simply left
alone once it’s cut. It is simple, light and airy. It has a
disappearing effect. |
Pencil: Stitches tightly cover
the edge (know as a rolled hem). This is a neat finish and also
light and airy, available in any color. |
Gold Pencil: Metallic embroidery
thread forms a brilliant pencil edge. |
Silver Pencil Edge: Metallic
embroidery thread forms a brilliant pencil edge. |
|

Scalloped Pencil: This looks like
a wavy/ruffled edge. A scalloped edge gives fluttering effect. The
ruffled look shows up best on the edge across the bottom of the veil
while the sides will look less ruffled. This is due to the way the
illusion stretches. |

1/8” or 1/4" Satin Ribbon: This
edge has some substance and definition. It’s a nice touch for satin
gowns or gowns with satin ribbon details. It gives a clearly
recognizable edge to the veil. (Need it wider? Want organza ribbon?

Satin Rattail Cord: This is a
neat finish with the most substance and definition. This is a nice
accent for satin gowns or gowns with satin cord details. |

Pearl: faux strung pearls provide a beautiful accent to the
edge. |
|
Gathered Scalloped: These are
full scallops rather than the wavy ruffled edge of the scalloped
pencil edge. It has a cloud effect, as the scallops are formed by
gathering in the edge at regular intervals. Can be done on just the
train edge of the cathedral veils or around the entire veil at any
length. Add this feature to any edge finish. Includes 1 to 3 faux
pearls hand sewn at each point. (Change that to Swarovski Crystal
Beads for $1 per bead or Cultured Pearls for $2 per bead) |
True Scalloped: This is a flat
curved edge. Beautiful flowing curves elegantly highlight the edge.
Works best with pencil edge. |
Wide Silk Ribbon: This
double-sided satin ribbon is 3/8" or 5/8" wide. This luxurious ribbon adds a
definitive satin edge to a veil. Comes in 37 colors to match your
veil or wedding colors.
|
Beaded Edge: Beads are
attached back to back along the edge. This can be done with
Swarovski crystals (shown), faux pearls, seed beads, combinations
and many more. We hand sew the beads. It does add a bid
of weight to the veil, which can help at a windy outdoor wedding.
